In an on-premise or air-gapped deployment, your data stays within your hospital's security perimeter. The platform enforces row-level tenant isolation and protects data with AES-256-GCM encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.

Is Tietai a medical device, and what does that mean for our workflows?
Tietai is non-medical-device software infrastructure. A workflow with an intended medical purpose requires its own regulatory assessment. If your institution builds and uses it in-house under MDR Article 5(5), it acts as the manufacturer where the exemption's conditions are met. Tietai provides the evidence pack and backend infrastructure to support that work.
